Yowamushi Pedal's Akira Midōsuji Gets Weird Toothbrushing Figure

One of the stranger characters of the bike-racing anime Yowamushi Pedal Grande Road is getting an new figure that prominently displays his oddity.
Akira Midōsuji, the first year biking club ace at Kyoto Fushimi High School, is represented in his childhood days, his large eyes looking down awkwardly as he points behind him. His lips are strangely curved to reveal the shiny white teeth he loves to show off.
Union Creative Online has also announced a second Akira figure in which he is shown sternly brushing his teeth. Both figures will go for 3240 yen (US$27).
This figure, scheduled for release in September, is the first in a line of Yowamushi Pedal Grande Road figures known as "Memories." Other character figures in this series have yet to be announced.
