Cute Cat Tries Out Fate/Stay Night Saber Cosplay
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Tokushima's Machi Asobi anime festival brought out one particularly cuddly cosplayer on Friday. The cat's blue dress and scaled armor meant only one thing: someone accomplished the impossible and found a cat that would serve them instead of vice versa. Such a rare feline could only have been summoned using magic of some kind, as it is against the laws of the natural world for a cat to be a human's servant. Yet here is cat Saber, ready to fight other servants for some well placed pets and a Holy Grail full of tuna.

Here, cat Saber can be seen with a figure based on the same character. The cat version is waiting for the opportune moment to nonchalantly bat it off the ledge.

Manga authors often express their love for felines in their own manga. Kodansha's Morning two magazine released a cat-centric issue earlier this year as did Big Comic Spirits. Cat characters even have their own magazine, Nyankomedia. If you're looking for cat manga available in English, you can check out She and Her Cat based on the work by Makoto Shinkai, Kanata Konami's Chi's Sweet Home and FukuFuku: Kitten Tales, or Junji Ito's Cat Diary: Yon & Mu.
