Good Luck Girl!'s Kawamura directs female-oriented anime at Brains Base

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Nippon Ichi Software and Broccoli's Kamigami no Asobi ~Ludere deorum~ (literally, Tricks of the Gods) female-oriented dating simulation game began streaming the first promotional video for the series on Tuesday. The anime will premiere in Japan this spring.

Tomoyuki Kawamura (Good Luck Girl chief director) will direct the series at animation studio Brains Base (Blood Lad, Penguindrum, Natsume's Book of Friends). Tomoko Konparu (Sunday Without God, UtaPri, Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You) will write the scripts and Minako Shiba (RDG Red Data Girl, Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee) will design the characters. Elements Garden is providing the music.

The game's cast will reprise their roles in the anime series:

Miyu Irino (Neo Angelique Abyss, Sacred Seven) as Apollon Agana Berea

Daisuke Ono (Durarara!, Yozakura Quartet) as Hades Idoneus

Yuuto Uemura (Michiko & Hatchin, Gatchaman Crowds) as Tsukito Totsuka

Toshiyuki Toyonaga (You and Me., Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) as Takeru Totsuka

Hiroshi Kamiya (Monogatari Series Second Season, Brothers Conflict) as Baldr Hringhorni

Yoshimasa Hosoya (Katanagatari, Valvrave the Liberator) as Loki Leviathan

Yuuki Kaji (Attack on Titan, Valvrave the Liberator) as Anubis Ma'at

Toshiyuki Morikawa (Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Kyo kara Maoh!) as Thoth Caduceus

The original "Weaving of fates - Love is pain" adventure game for the PSP system was released in Japan on October 24. The story revolves around heroine Yui Kusanagi, who is ordered by Zeus (Houchu Ohtsuka), a god and the headmaster of a school he created, to teach the meaning of love to young and handsome gods. The reason he has for doing this is to cancel the negative effects of the weakening bond between the world of the divine and the world of the humans.
