Two-Formula to Perform Isuca Action Anime's Ending Theme

posted on by Kyle Cardine
Ayumi Fujimura will play title character in series premiering January

The December issue of Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine is announcing on Tuesday that TWO-FORMULA will perform the ending theme for the anime of Osamu Takahashi's Isuca action manga. The group previously performed the ending theme "Taiyō to Tsuki no Cross" (The Sun and Moon's Cross) for My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy.

The cast includes Ibuki Kido (Tokyo ESP) as Sakuya Shimazu, Keisuke Kōmoto (Tokyo ESP) as Shinichirō Asano, M.A.O (Ai: Tenchi Muyo!, World Conquest Zvezda Plot) as Suseri Shimazu, Kaori Sadohara (Inari Kon Kon, Date A Live) as Tamako, and Ayumi Fujimura (Squid Girl) as Isuca.

Akira Iwanaga (Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee) will direct the anime at ARMS (Himawari!, Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny) with series composition by Masashi Suzuki (Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox, The Sacred Blacksmith). Idol group Afilia Saga (My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy, Hyperdimension Neptunia) will perform the theme song.

The story of the manga revolves around Shinichirō, a male student who gets a job as a housekeeper in order to pay his rent. While on the job, he accidentally releases a strange creature into the world, and he learns that his female employer named Sakuya Shimazu is the head of the Shimazu clan that hunts these creatures. Shinichirō cooperates with her to hunt down the monsters that are running loose.

Takahashi began the manga in Young Ace in its first volume of 2009, and Kadokawa Shoten shipped the fifth compiled volume in Japan on June 30.

The anime will premiere in January.
