Mōretsu Atarō Manga by Osomatsu-kun/Tensai Bakabon's Fujio Akatsuka Gets Stage Play

Fujio Akatsuka's Mōretsu Atarō will get a stage play adaptation that will open at the Haiyuza Theater in Tokyo from December 19 to December 24. The play's title is Mōretsu Atarō Kogarashi ni Odoru Hanafubuki (Furious Atarō: Cherry Blossoms Dancing in the Winter Wind).
Tomoya Sakurai is directing and writing the script. The cast includes Akihiro Hayashi, Shōta Onuma, Ryūko Isogai, Yūki Yamaoki, Yui Itō, Yutaka Kainuma, Yasuaki Hori, Shōgo Yoshida, Junya Ogawa, Hirotaka Kitajima, Aya Shimomura, Yui Sawa, and Mō Chūgakisei.
Akatsuka (Tensai Bakabon, Himitsu no Akko-chan, Osomatsu-kun) launched the original manga Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1967. The gag manga follows Tokyoite Atarō and country boy Dekoppachi.
