AFA Indonesia Hosts Idol, Voice Actress Sally Amaki
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Amaki is a member of the 22/7 idol group, which debuted and announced an anime project in 2017. The group began releasing animated music videos in 2017, and their first character videos debuted in English in May 2018. Amaki voices the in-story character Sakura Fujima in the group, a role which she reprised in the 22/7 anime in 2020. Amaki also performs the motion capture for the character for streams. Amaki is well-known for her fluency in both Japanese and English, and she switches between both freely during streams, events, and on social media. Her fluency in both languages allowed her to voice the character Carol Olston in the Tomo-chan Is a Girl! anime in both the Japanese and English dubs.
Amaki voiced the character Betsy in the fourth episode of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War television anime as her anime voice acting debut. She also voiced the character Akubi in the Pandora to Akubi anime film. She has also voiced the character Kathrina Griebel in Stella of the Theater: World Dai Star, and Akari Suzumura in Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night. She will voice main character Lily Baker in the upcoming Cultural Exchange With a Game Centre Girl anime.
AFA Indonesia will take place at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta on June 6 to 8. The performing artists who will attend the event include Daoko, Demondice, Eir Aoi, KAF, Liyuu, teddyloid, and towana from fhána. Sumire Uesaka will also attend the event.
The event will also host the world premiere screening of the first episode of the television anime of Yura Urushibara's Tougen Anki manga.
