I really feel like they have no intention of actually doing this. Or should it get made, it'll be low-budget crap that will disappear on NicoNico so they won't be embarrassed on TV.

It was delayed again? Oh well, at least it's certain that it will premier in July. Now to play the waiting game...

I agree about this. Granted it is nice that they gave us the news about the anime instead of leaving us in the dark like last time. But it'll be nice that they can give us some sort of image or a little snippet. Maybe in spring there will be a promo or something.

Now that we know the staff it's actually hard to say "Oh it's just a marketing trick". These people have been taken off working on Precure over a year ago and haven't done anything since. They must've been doing something?
Internet streaming choice of publication is odd, but in this day and age not necessarily baffling one. It's an easy medium to reach multiple international audiences (which this work is clearly targeting) and Japanese core fans alike, and it costs much less to get your show on the web than paying for a TV airing slot. Toei's already experimenting with Web anime with Robot Girls Z and that one doesn't look too bad.

Skeptical since this is the what... 3rd delay?
Until they release some actual character designs or the new merchandise does not use the old anime key art/designs, I'm not getting excited.

Anyone familiar with Yuji Kobayashi (i.e. his style)? I know about PreCure and I know about Saint Seiya Omega, but I haven't watched either shows. How is he as a director on the episodes he's worked on for those two shows?

I guess his work is best described as par for the course for Toei Superhero shows? He's done some Precure and tokusatsu episodes here and there, his are generally good.

Not the greatest staff around heck not even the best PreCure staff. Well here's hoping it's still good.

I'll just take a wait and see approach. Getting kind of concern on how they are treating this. Something like this shouldn't be on backburner so much.
