Oh, and here's something interesting: Rosette's Tombstone says that she died in 1928. (the time that series starts out in) However, episode 12 was a Christmas episode, and the Magdalan Order took 6 months to look for Rosette and Chrono. Wouldn't that mean that Rosette really died in 1929, not 1928? o_O

I would assume the Christmas episode and everything before it was in 1927, so I don't see how that's an issue.

I've not read all of the manga (missing some volumes but have the last one..) and it's been a long time since I've read/watched either, but from what I remember
The anime has a much more religious spin: Aion really is satan/antichrist or whatever and Remington is an angel. In the manga I get the impression that the demons are actually aliens, Pandemonium is their ship and Remington, as mentioned above, was a normal human infused with legion.

The thing is that the summary given by ADVFilms says that the series starts out in the year 1928. It's unlikely for them to actually get the time setting wrong.
As for the manga ending, Rosette ended up dying anyway, but it's implied that Chrono lived on, since an anonymous person had been putting flowers on Rosette's grave every year. I kinda liked the anime ending more, though, since it was more emotional.

Wow, I just remembered the ending after reading the last couple of posts and it still hits me hard emotionally. Specially that whole "I don't wanna die" portion. Aw man. Major tear on that one.
As far as sequels go, i'd have to go with those saying that there won't be one.

Chrono Crusade has a similar feel to FMA in that its a funny a show that does have it serious moments. Both shows are really great in my opinion, and should be check out by Shonen fans.
As for the game question. Chrono Trigger was a game for the SNES (one of the best) and its sequel Chrono Cross. Many fans speculated that the original Mangaka wanted to use Chrono but couldn't because of trademark. This was proven wrong in an answerman column, where it was noted that it was a silly spelling air that happens all the time in anime.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the games. They aren't even remotely similar.

well thats what i think. |
that would be intresting

(She/Her)
an older anime
from just after the millennium (2003)
i looked it up in search
and didn·t see a thread for it
i feel like the series would have been ideal if Chrono was also a Nun . Chrno . Bl eh .
at the end , Rosette Christopher says ,
"I·m not the bad one!
It·s always, always, always like this!"
and of course we do the "Again?!" gag
which yu have seen so many times now .
