This show got another season because there's still plenty of source material to cover and it has good sales. Sales that aren't because of the loliservice, but because it's a fun spin-off of a famous franchise and the battles are great Also, it's a very good adaptation of the source material

It doesn't have to be I suppose, but I would figure that they thought it would help the show attract a bigger audience.

It's not really skeevy at all, actually its seasons were tame as fudge compared to all the borderline hentai ecchi shows airing.
The loli sexualization toned down to almost nothing, aside from the kiss scene, which isn't even considered explicit, so there's that.

It's a tame adaptation lacking loli sexualization, only having watered down worthless scenes, and I'm sure it will be the case this season too. And that's nothing new in anime industry.
Lolis don't sell, and animation staffs don't do proper fanservice of them anymore.
Look at ViVid.

No, you see. The source material WAS lewd as hell.
The anime is not.
Did nobody watch the series here or something? The only lewd thing was the kiss scene. Everywhere else they just toned it down to family friendly non sexual scenes instead of how they were in the manga.

As I said earlier, I haven't watched the series yet, but I can see why someone would think it's lewd. It's a bit relative. Everyone has different standards I suppose.

Maybe.
Anyhow if we are speaking of it comparatively to ecchi shows, this is about the tamest thing you can find, really nothing like the thousands of shows around. (alright, ViVid is actually even more tame, but for the same reason, lolis and sexualization doesn't go together in anime)

Actually, I think this neighborhood welcomes him more than people who enjoy the "pedophillic baggage".
Not that this series will have much for show at any rate.
