I thought OreShura sounded as generic as possible when it was first announced, and the preview and trailer have done nothing to change that opinion. The staff seems strong enough, particularly at director, but it feels no different than any other harem-ish tale, which are even starting to look alike aesthetically (i.e. character designs, animation style, coloring). I'll likely give the first ep. a watch, but my enthusiasm is tepid, at best…

I doubt OreShura will be enjoyable to anyone who doesn't like these types of shows, but its source material is top of the line for its genre. If you like these romcom/harem types of shows, it'll be worth a watch for sure.
And yeah, the Idolm@ster Puchimas link doesn't work for some reason. Heres a link to its PV for anyone interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=E7yDlLcQHyo |

Hopefully, that'll be the case. If there is one thing that is interesting about it, it's that the male lead has an ex-girlfriend, which most shows of its ilk normally don't include. |

well i do like the idea of a girl blackmailing a guy into being her boyfriend kinda different. I'm not setting the bar to high here but I would love to know what she is blackmailing him with and what crazy antics will follow. |

I assume it's a reference to the "War on Pants!" marketing Funimation did for Strike Witches. Though from what I can tell, the war on pants is still going strong in Vividred Operation. |

OreShura looks like a fun, inoffensive way to spend 30 minutes every week.

Ye, it looks like a fun series to watch but probably won't be a highlight of the season. I've been reading the manga and side stories and it's just not too bad, given off a few laughs here and there.

Too late! "Hold the mayo: Police nab man for throwing mayonnaise at schoolgirls in Sapporo" "Japanese Man Arrested For Squirting Mayonnaise on Unsuspecting High School Girls"
They look like sock-puppets! |

So, this is like...
IDOLM@ASTER + Humanity Has Declined + ...Gremlins?
In Japan, mayonnaise goes on everything. School girls are not exempt! |

Sounds like an inside joke. In the original game for Xbox 360, there's a hidden Miki route which is more or less this. |
