It's not. Not at all. It's an original not even a VN adaptation.

Well, it's not like the character designer for the Angel Beats! anime works at P.A. Works, so unless they use the same guy I wouldn't worry too much.

Maybe it's just Maeda thing. He previously named a project after a Irish band name, and I believe that there is a Japanese band named Charlotte. Or it's just a cake.

I'm confused if it's not related to Angel Beats why did it state 5 years since Angel Beats in the text? Angel Beats was not the last anime adaptation done for Key so it very well could have some kind of tie to Angel Beats.

While that is true, PA works character designs are all very samey. I hope they bring on a different character designer.

I am...intrigued. And, just looking at the promo image, I find it interesting that the camcorder's screen only shows the night sky when it's pointed at Charlotte.

Dude.... There is no one in the anime called Charlotte... For short, the name of the title is not based on a the that girl with a cam......
