I have this queued up to watch but if its another angsty teen drama with no payoff then I'll skip it. |
well, it still does have its dose of sexy pictures, it is just framed less gratuitously than what we are used to, sexually suggestive shots of people tend to be structured as to emphasize that other character is looking at them with those feelings/intentions, but they are still there. not that I could fap alongside all the angst and melodrama, but you do you

I think I'll just skip it altogether. One Scum's Wish is more than enough to fill my teen angst and melodrama quota for a good long time. Thanks for the reply!

Frankly I've warmed up on School Days over the years. It's still not a good show, at least not by an conventional metric, and 90% of the characters are insanely difficult to like but I find it more believable nowadays. I dismissed the chaotic and irrational emotions being displayed in that show as "unrealistic and dumb" when really you should never underestimate the stupidity of a hormone-filled teenager.
As for Hina's boyfriend, really, even if you wanted to believe that he wasn't being emotionally abusive towards her, intentionally or otherwise, the guy's been cheating on his wife for *two years* and *still* hasn't divorced her. He's...probably not a good person. That or he's just the biggest idiot on the planet.
I myself find Domestic Girlfriend way more impressive than I ever would've imagined by reading the premise to it. Still trashy as hell, but it has fun with it and is capable of some genuinely effective and poignant (melo)drama.

Anyone here ever watch a little indie film named "The Trouble With Dick"? No? You should. Then, think about it and "Domestic Girlfriend."
I remember when some people were shocked that "pornography" like Onegai Teacher! was being published. Civilization did not collapse in flames. At least, not before Donald Trump's Presidency. We'll all probably survive that, as well, but have plasters and iodine handy.
