Why does everything he might work on start with "Shin"?

Sorry if it's obvious to everyone else, but I don't know the answer.
evangelion doesn't start with shin . also it has three popular meanings "heart" */ "spirit' / "mind" , so can be found in many works

The original Japanese title of Neon Genesis Evangelion is Shin Seiki Evangelion, with "Shin" roughly meaning the "Neon" part of the "English" title, but there's lots of multi-language word play at work in these titles.

The first three Rebuild of Evangelion films have "Shin Gekijō-ban" (again, roughly speaking, the Rebuild films part) in the middle of their Japanese titles.

The final Evangelion film's title starts with the proper "Shin" at the beginning, written in katakana characters (like in Shin Godzilla/Ultraman/Kamen Rider), so it can be a word play for "new," "true," "god," and more.
