Kanade was voted to be eliminated last year against Working!!'s Yamada as she was considered too big of a threat, similar to how Homura was this year. Homura's fault, however, will likely give strength to Mami and Madoka in the upcoming brackets. Also, since K-ON!! won last year, their strength has considerably diminished. Mio will likely fall to Ika Musume, Azusa is in a predicament with Haqua (Kami Nomi) and being last year's champion, Ritsu is against Kyouko (Madoka), Ui is against Hakase (Nichijou), and Yui will likely make it out of round 1, but will likely be paired against Erio (Denpa Onna) or Charlotte (Infinite Stratos) in round 2. K-ON!! is no Rozen Maiden or Nanoha...or at least not yet. We'll need to see how far Azusa or Yui can get for now. All in all, Saimoe is really dead this year compared to the last few years. Not many interesting powerhouses, which makes vote counts incredibly low and not exciting until probably block finals at this rate. Of course, saimoe is always full of surprises, so hoping for some huge trolls sooner or later. |

I'm glad she beat Mugi. I was a little worried since K-On! is ridiculously popular, though Mugi always stood out the least compared to the other characters to me (of course except when she put on her yuri goggles... the creators should have done more with that).  |
