Art quality wise it might be a B grade Anime. But its an A grade anime when it comes to story. I've seen many animes with such beautiful artworks, and great reviews... hell they dont get anywhere near this one. El hazard's soundtracks, and BGMs are really great. Yes, el hazard set a standard of "Casual loop", and "Predstination Paradox". I have seen many animes copying this concept... Last episode goes back to first episode, take "Onegai Teacher" as an example. The OVA 1 has the best ending I've ever seen. If you prioritize artwork over story then dont watch it though...
