Yay! I've got the fansubs for this, but I hadn't watched it yet, cause I was hoping the rumors would be confirmed. With this, I can free some HDD space! And I just got the final volume of the manga yesterday. Genshiken, BANZAI!!!

I'd be more impressed if they were less stupid with the OVAs.

Course, knowing my luck, KujiUn will sell like voltron on fire and MB will go Moe on us... -_________-

*explodes*

If you know me well on these forums you know I am super happy right now!

I've been watching the fansubs or this series and I can't wait to see this in english dub. I'm curious to see how will they handle the Angela and Sue thing too.

Genshiken BANZAI!

Either that or you could turn the tables and actually use Japanese.

I've not watched my DVD's for a while but I'm pretty sure in ROD TV this is exactly what they do when they have English class in the Japanese, the English Dub has them speak Japanese instead.

I thought that Media Blasters might have picked this up at some point however i didn't think that they would announce while it is still airing but I'm not complaining.

I remember, when Anita was new to the class and she demonstrated her Japanese. I thought that was a very nice spin on the whole "foreign" student as far as dubbing is concerned.

Also very long time ANN visitor, first time poster. How's it going?

Yes! As others have posted before, there was no suspense involved given the postings over at the anime on dvd forum in recent weeks. However, I can't help but feel a sense of relief and joy at the official confirmation of the license. Genshiken 2 has been awesome thus far and I can't wait to purchase it when it's available here in the States.
