Haven't spent this much in a while! Bonus pay from work gave me the funds...here's the list:
Infinite Stratos BD vol.1-6+Encore $110
true tears BD BOX $125
Cardcaptor Sakura BD BOX 1-3+Sealed Card $490
Love Live! BD vol.1-2 $51
Dragon Ball Z BD Level 1.1-1.2 $37
didn't add in the change. Total $813.
I officially have a backlog of anime now. First time in a very long time. Summer of '14 will be one to remember.
This month also brought my JP BD collection to 100+ discs. I think its time to send in a Shelf Life picture!

Let's see how this month's turned out for me:
Magi DVD Sets- $124.96
Inuyasha Stuff (First Series, Final Act and Movies 3+4)- $211.58
Sengoku Collection- $33.48
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU/ Severing Crime Edge- $59.98
Soul Eater Complete Series- $36.35
Street Fighter II V- $27.49
Negima (both TV seasons)- $61.46
June 2014 Total: $555.30
YTD Total: $1657.31
YTD Total Around This Time Last Year: $1578.47
Talk about going overboard. Hate to imagine how the rest of the summer's panning out since I went on a pre-order frenzy for stuff and plan to order some other titles when both their halves are out (Railgun S and From the New World).

$481.00 made from anime sales on ebay through May
$1570.00 difference through May
June:

Surprisingly little, due to fewer orders shipping than expected and a nerve-wracking lack of charge from CDJapan(no, seriously, who ships intercontinental without so much as authorizing the charge first?):
Anime: $5.00(blind box, Robotech: Remastered Extended Edition set 2)
Manga: $31.32
Subscription: $20.00
June Total: $56.32
June YOY: -$151.17
YTD Total: $857.01
YTD YOY: -$854.23
YTD YOY minus hardware: -$343.27
So much lighter than intended. Now if CDJapan would just make up their damn minds on whether to charge me or not, I'd be hunky dory.

Posting two months as I forgot to post May's expenses.
Right May was a very light month - my lightest since I've started collecting:
Claymore 24: £5.93
Crunchyroll: £8.99
Giving me a total of £14.93 for May
June was expensive due to the Patema Inverted Kickstarter:
Crunchyroll: £8.99
ANN Subscription: £18.20
Patema Inverted Ultimate Signed Set: £165.00
Giving me a grand total of £192.19.
Grand total YTD: £862.65
Last year to date: £3380.37 meaning I've saved 74% compared to last year

I suppose that is one way to look at it. From my viewpoint, you found 74% less good stuff to buy compared to last year.

Yeah some of it was wasted like the iPod I thought I'd lost, replaced and then found but I've had a fabulous holiday and some cracking UK breaks as well as been to a hand full of concerts... But yes my collection isn't growing as quickly as previous years

See, just as I thought. All that money wasted on vacations and concerts. You could have just stayed home and bought more anime/manga. Turn in your credentials as a "True Anime Fan".

End of another month, huh? Guess it's time to rack up my spending for this month:
Short Peace = $16.49
Problem Children are Coming from Another World = $35.99
Love Lab = $32.98
AnoHana Movie = $33.47
Silver Spoon = $59.98
Gundam Unicorn Vol. 1-3 = $60.75
From the New World (both sets) and Fate/Kaleid = $116.99
Stella Women's Academy = $29.99
July 2014 Total: $386.64
YTD Total: $2043.95
Total Around This Time Last Year: $1966.75
Spent almost as much as I did around this time last year ($388.28). Then again, I guess I'm not surprised since I was anticipating to spend quite a bit over the summer.
