But seriously, I'm liking this show. Didn't have huge expectations when I sampled the first eppie, but it's been a solid performer.

A decent episode, though I don't think there's much noteworthy about it.

That scene with Mrs Hinohara was touching, though.

Haha. I have to admit he is pretty hot.

I've read all the manga currently available in english and the anime is quite different, cutting plenty of stuff and reordering others. Kadowaki didn't show up until later on, and the whole "throw important thing off cliff you have sunset to get it" thing wasn't done by Kannagi but a different character. I've also noticed that the anime got rid of a lot of the more comedic moments.

While the anime still works pretty well on its own, a lot of important bits got cut which kinda make it impossible for the show to go beyond 12 episodes without being completely anime original. Seriously if you're going to give an adaptation of a 200+ chapter shonen series only 12 episodes why even bother?

Well, it got me to read the manga at least.

that got solved way too fast, and I was wondering if everyone had just completely forgotten about Kadowaki. That spoiler[eye transfer] was slightly disturbing
