Anyone read the news about an employee leaving Gutsoon? Here's a link to the story.

i think Raijin was doomed to fail from the start first of all it costs to much to subsribe and all of the manga in it is unknown in the US except to a small niche market.
Not to Mention that there distrobution sucks. It would do better if it was monthly instead of weekly. |

20 bucks a month is a lot of money to shell out, no doubt. I can't afford the yearly subscription.

I wish the best for them though, Cyrax. I liked their titles, because they just didn't appeal to the little kids category and had a bit more adult stories. Plus, monthly is really sucky for a manga anthology with the size and pacing of most manga titles. I would think it would be better for them to go bi-weekly, though(along with Shonen Jump)

Well I never could read it, due to the fact it was so expensive, We don't gte it on newsstands, and I couldn't afford the 3 months. However, there were a few titles in there I really wanted to read...

You're not willing to register on another site for the chance to win $40 worth of manga? I'm even covering shipping - even for Canadians!

I like the fact that most of the Rajin titles are geared toward adults. Rajin certainly fillled a void after Pulp went down.

I tried leaving a trail of Reeses Pieces, but that just led to uncomfortable alien encounters...
The contest is multifold in its intent: (1) Promote Broken Frontier and its forums; (2) promote Raijin Comics; (3) clear out space in my room. Those manga anthologies really start to take up space after awhile! |

Okay, okay, I'll enter. You'll also be sorry you ever asked- I'm a pretty good writer, and I suddenly feel like bragging, cos I was published in Potluck magazine Spring 2003, and I'm still not old enough to drive. Haha....
Ignore me, but I'll enter!!! |
