This is neat to hear. Little information is available on English-language sites regarding Kageyama, so I was beginning to fear his career was the only thing in his life.

The guy who sings "Cha La, Head Cha La" has a 26-year-old daughter! Wow, how old is he?!
(He sounds like a good, supportive father!) |

Not only is Kageyama an awesome singer responsible for so many of my childhood memories, he's also done voice over work. His most recent work was Zaruba from Ougon Kishi: Garo

Kageyama-san has been one of the irrepressible characters of anison - have a look at any JAM Project clips starting at http://www.youtube.com/user/lantis - I trust that he is a good father as well.

Actually, Kageyama began his career in his teens. Back when this was the popular style of music. |

This is apparently old-ish news, but wow. O.o Amazing that this wasn't public up until now. Her being Mr. DBZ's daughter instantly makes her cooler in my book. :P
Very interesting about Lazy, and how it was evident from their Deep Purple-inspired name that they wanted to be a hard rock/metal band but evil managers made them churn out dime-store bubblegum crap like the above! I've heard tracks from Kageyama's first solo album that he did in 1981. They're mostly ballads/pop and the like; they definitely don't sound good with his voice. He's the kind of singer who's really only cut out for hard rock. Probably more manager interference. |
