Sad about the lack of payment.
Hopefully, this means that Blame! will get released soon.

So, that means there's no telling when this thing will get back on the ground, if it ever does.

Yeah, sucks. Appleseed 2004 film was decent, but Ex Machina was really good. I wanted to see more Appleseed. =/

Ex Machina was dumb and generic.

I was dreading this release after Catblue Dynamite and Tank Police OVA so no mourning from me. I hope they go back to more traditional animation for this and get a better director/studio (Production IG, Madhouse).

Josh: Yeah, I really wanted to get a kick out of it, but the only thing it had going for it-IMHO-was that it wasn't as slow as Beowulf.

That wouldn't be so bad, actually, if I.G and Kamiyama Kenji took it over - I say Kamiyama specifically because he's got the right sensibility for cop shows, which is basically what Appleseed is (when done correctly).
I hope we'd still have Paku Romi as Deunan, though. Words can't express how much I wanted to see that
