Yes. Yes it is.
Strong World was my jumping-in point for One Piece (before going back and watching evertyhing from episode 1), and I have to agree withe the people who tied me to a chair to watch it: it's kind of the best, most accessible encapsulation of what makes One Piece good. Sure, there are "spoilers" in the sense that it showcases Luffy's full pre-timeskip crew, but knowing the series is on its way to Strong World levels of awesomeness is something tangible you can hold on to in the slower moments of the early series. |
