The September issue of Akita Shoten's Young Champion Retsu magazine revealed on Tuesday that Takahiro Seguchi will launch a new manga series titled Smells Like Teen XXX in the magazine's next issue, which Akita Shoten will publish on September 15. The new manga will have a color opening page.
The magazine teases:
A blue-colored story of love and secrets.
Natsuho is my neighbor, three years older than me, and she always teases me. But I know a certain secret about her.
Sekiguchi drew the art of the Sickness Unto Death (Shi ni Itaru Yamai) manga, with Hikaru Asada writing the story. Hakusensha published the two-volume manga in 2010 after the series ran in the publisher's Young Animal magazine in 2009. The "literary love story" revolves around a woman named Emiru who suffers from a deep despair, and a man named Kazuma who tries to figure out the reason behind Emiru's sadness. Vertical published the two English volumes of Sickness Unto Death in September and November 2013.
ADV Manga previously published the first volume of Seguchi's six-volume Enmusu manga in North America.
