posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official website of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine announced on Sunday that Matsuri Hino will drew a new chapter of her Vampire Knight manga in the January 2015 issue of LaLaDX, which Hakusensha will publish on December 10. The new chapter will be 42 pages long, and will have a color opening page. It will also adorn the issue's cover.
The website teases the new chapter:
A story about Kaname's awakening, and of memories of lost time.
Hino previously drew a new chapter for the manga in LaLaDX in February.
The manga revolves around Yūki, a high school girl whose unique school features a "day class" of normal kids and a "night class" of vampires. She works with her adopted father and headmaster to prove that vampires can coexist with humans peacefully, but the school — and the vampires — hide many secrets.
Hino launched the manga in LaLa in 2004, and ended it in May 2013. Hakusensha published the 19th and final compiled book volume in November 2013. Viz Media published the final volume in North America in October 2014. Viz also released the 2008 Vampire Knight anime series and its Vampire Knight Guilty followup.
