I feel sorry for those that have been duped into buying multiple fake Love Live pins after being convinced by this knock-off seller that they were legit.
Here's hoping Mr. Wakiyama enjoys his months in the slammer.

The man was arrested yesterday.
He has not been tried yet, possibly not even arraigned, or however they do it in Japan.
It will probably be quite a while before he is sentenced, assuming that he is found guilty.

Well according to my sources he's been sentenced to over 9000 years.

If that is a humorous reference to something I must admit that I do not get it.

just ignore it. i doubt there's such a sentence.. if you believe them.. might as well believe that they will chop this guy up and sell his body parts on the black market for selling fake love live pins.. how's that?
as for "fakes" china is the breeding ground for these things--- during the 1 week tour in 2010.. a household of 4-5 people should be enough to form a small factory/workshop
anyway.. even though i like reading/watching manga/anime...i'm not into buying these things...

Obviously, the sentence would have been much more lighter if he had chosen Nico.

Japan treats copyright infringement like most developed countries treat murderers, pedophiles, etc. The sentences are usually absurd and not at all deserving of the crime, and the investigations of the crime usually involves one's home, office, etc being raided like Osama bin Laden's hideout was the night he was killed.
