He was specifically speaking of the OVA. I agree with his assessment whole-heartedly and would probably not rewatch it with the rest of the series; it's really a parade of the series's weak points.

Just out of curiosity, were you watching the BD release in Japan or some bootleg stream? It doesn't seem likely it will ever make it stateside in a legal stream or media distribution.

very true, but as long as they remain assault rifles, they will still be considered middle school kids no matter how old they get, so im not really sure that matters

yeah, rather weak reasoning. So they got naked for a bath, and did random camping things, I still fail to see how its as dirty as you make it out to be. Expect for lack of censoring, it's pretty much what we got during the show.

The show didn't actually show anything. That's the difference. There is a big difference between teasing and showing.
Sort of like the difference between the Asobi ni Ikuyo TV broadcast and the OVA... it was basically just an excuse to show all the character's tits.
