With the recent reports out that Hirano is done with anime voice acting, probably never.

Yeah, because she totally didn't just play a character in Girls und Panzer or anything.

Or Busou Shinki. Not that anyone watches that.

Hmmm turns out it'll probably be a full anime series and not a bunch of shorts and it looks like it'll take chu2kois timeslot. Still going to see it either way though Smile .

That'll be great news if its true.. I'm just wondering how they were able to get a reunion of the K-On staff to do something like this without any kind of leaks. Its pretty rare for a major title to be worked on without there being any hints at it until the official announcement.

...because they all work for KyoAni anyway?

I'm not really certain why you think there would be "leaks".

Meh, I'm warming up to Kyo-ani, I liked Hyouka and Chyuu surpsingly after thinking I'd find both boring but they managed to make likable shows...this being their own work however, and not an adaption of any sort makes me somewhat curious.

Actually, anime is one of the few sectors of the entertainment industry that is virtually leak-proof. I'm always amazed at what gets kept under wraps until an official announcement. That is not a standard entertainment industry code of conduct by any means.

Unlike K-ON! and Lucky Star, the new anime will have an original story

With any luck that means it'll be good.

Hirano isn't in the Busou Shinki anime TV series, though (at least, so far).

I think it's more important to mention she does Lucy's voice in Fairy Tale, which is an ongoing, weekly series.

Well they could always kill off Lucy, which would be a significant improvement to the series over all.

Please, feel free to explain what precisely does not impress you.

Without using the word "moe".
