Don't forget about China's "Not a Gundam" Gundam statue, that was pretty audacious too.
Anyway this is a blatent case of Copyright Infringment & Intellectual Property theft. If Viz or Shueisha (or anyone involved with either Naruto or Bleach franchises, for that matter) doesn't at least file a C&D order against the developers of Pockie Ninja by the end of the month, I'll be quite suprised.

And it's been awhile since I've seen Naruto, but I'm 99% sure the music playing in the advertisement was lifted directly from the anime. |
I agree, I think someone is just thinking, "This will get us a lot of attention!" Yeah, the wrong kind of attention, from the original creator's legal department.

It's weird that they mention Naruto in their news section, but don't seem to mention they have permission from Bleach, Naruto, or any of the other characters they are using.
If you're gonna use without permission you gotta go strong and not even acknowledge the theft.

If they got permission, they would have to say somewhere something like "such and such characters are trademarks of Shonen Jump."

Yeah I saw this video on Gametrailers, didn't realize this game was illegitimate and using characters without permission. Well, game look intersting but it's not for me.

Did you even click the links? The screenshots for the game are in chinese. The e-mail addresses for all the contact information are hk. They're not hiding where their origins are from.
