Came back from the event. I have to agree with the dubbing and wished they had used the Japanese audio with english subs. When I saw the credits for the dubbing, I didn't know any of the actors used and can I say this Did the whole pronunciation issues bother anyone ex: How hard is it to say "manga" correctly?

His interview after the movie was hilarious. He just kept going and going and his interpreter is like "wtf?"

Worse than that was the pronunciation of regular sentences. Only in an English dub of a foreign movie will someone ask "Did something bad happen?" and place emphasis on the word "happen".

Yeah. OH Yeah, he could be Spike.
If this movie gets made and if Keanu steps down from the role (which he would do if he felt it was best for the project), then I'd like to see him play Spike.

Does he speak English, at least? Because Spike Spiegel is supposed to be Caucasian, from the name alone (though that hasn't stopped Hollywood before).
