Sonic Symphony World Tour Escapes to Your City With Newly Announced Summer Dates
The official “Sonic The Hedgehog” concert presents the music of the franchise with a rock and classical spin
Tokyo, Japan — Sonic The Hedgehog stands as one of the most popular and important video game series in the history of the medium, pushing video game boundaries and delighting fans since his first outing on the Sega Genesis in 1991. The music found within the games plays a major role in Sonic's continued success and is instantly recognizable by fans all across the globe. Songs from across the franchise's 30 years come alive during the summer leg of the Sonic Symphony World Tour, presenting an immersive live experience bringing the sounds of SEGA's flagship character to life via a full symphony orchestra and rock band featuring veteran contributors to the franchise.
The Sonic Symphony Tour Continues!
Following a series of sold-out shows across the globe in the first half of 2024, Sonic Symphony aims to go even further in the Summer leg of the tour. The tracklist for the show includes songs from as early as the game's original release, all the way up to more recent franchise additions such as Sonic Frontiers. Guest performers include the legendary composer Jun Senoue and Sonic franchise lead composer Tomoya Ohtani at select stops.
The event, co-produced by SEGA and soundtrec, and presented worldwide by MGP Live, continues in Paris, France on June 2 before heading to the United States throughout the Summer. It's a chance to not only celebrate the musical legacy of Sonic the Hedgehog, but also see classic video game tunes presented in a whole new way. See the full roster of Summer leg dates below:
