like most late night anime, usually people would just DVR it... considering that it's airing 2:40a.m and 3:00am Fri. on for an hour, and the bus ride back to Chubu, then to people's homes... what about work?

Work, that is something you go to after Madoka Magica, sleep not required. If you can do all nighters playing your favorite game, then this is not all that bad either.

If you DVR it, you're in constant fear of a baseball game going into extra innings, thus ruining your recording schedule. You need to watch more Lucky Star.

Japanese TV cuts off baseball broadcasts if they go over their allotted time, even when the game goes extra innings. Yes, it's the Heidi moments.
