I'm not sure if that was sarcasm but he has an inflimation of his intestines (probably causing a mild case of the s**ts and abdominal pains), his throat/voice isn't affected by the illness. People go back to work full time after beating cancer, I'm sure he can do the same after a shortish stay in hospital.
