No surprise here. This was just a matter of time before it got an TV series adaptation imo given how popular it is. It looks like the series will be premiering Spring so that's definitely something to look forward to, not to mention the OVAs coming as well.

The question I wonder is if it's a 2 cour. Hopefully they pick a good spot to conclude the show without a huge cliffhanger.

With over 12+ volumes already out, I can see it being at least 24 episodes.

Yeah same here. I just hope they don't rush any important parts.

Judging by the manga, this should be pretty entertaining. I don't know if it's relevant or not, but I thought it was interesting to note that this kinda-ecchi harem series is made by a female mangaka, the author of Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, if anyone's familiar with that. Perhaps because of it, the writing manages to not dip into outright stupidity too often, despite the somewhat-tired premise, and is basically an all-around fun time; it's kind of hard to hate, although I'm sure the internet will find a way somehow. As several others have mentioned, there's a point in the story where it looks suspiciously like the series was originally intended to end, but even though it hasn't, the quality hasn't dropped, which is another point for the author in my book.

Really looking forward to this. I need another good comedy show in my life. The animation looks good as well. I definitely like the art style better than the manga. Hope it delivers.

You can check out the first chapter of the manga free on Crunchyroll (more if you have a premium account).

It starts with body swapping, but continues on to all sorts of other magical hijinks and the body swapping goes into the background.

Really happy that it's finally getting a proper anime series.

No surprises, but lots of joy! I can't wait to see Urara ... oh, I mean Yamada, et al... animated in a TV series. I hope they cover at least through the end of the first main arc spoiler[when Yamada and Urara finally start dating.] That would probably take at least 2 cours. Then, when it is successful, they can finish off the story and time it to match the end of the manga, which I expect will happen after the current arc is over, or when the main characters graduate from high school.

(I suppose they could do the whole thing, but it will take an awfully long series to do that...)
