Wow, it is really that bad? I haven't watched any yet but looking at all the posts here I'm starting to question the show's entertainment value...

The Japanese vocabulary is amazingly spot on for a parody of US 80s or 90s ninja inspired shows. It's comprehensible but just a lot of really odd word choices or politeness levels, sort of Engrish like. My wife and I definitely enjoy it, but I am not sure how big the target audience is.

I don't see it lasting 26 episodes. I was expecting crazy quality, instead got cardboard cuts outs and in joke humor like inferno cop. No Thanks, not accessible.

If it was made with no budget, then it shouldn't need a lot of views to turn a profit. Even if it gets a sharp dropoff (and I'm sure the people at Trigger expected it), Trigger will most likely benefit from its existence anyway.
About one-fifth of people who voted gave it the highest rating (if those are in order of best to worst). If about 200,000 people continue to watch, that should be fine for them.
I should get to watching this too, in that case. |
