I like Estelle, but I have to agree with this. The story on Accelerator is very bland.

Painfully true. Also, ow that art, please no.
Also this will probably more Railgun, but I'm still praying for the long shot Zashiki Warashi or Blood Sign anime.

Accelerator is also not even in half of the first arc. Ok, that is maybe a bit much, but he went with around 6-8 months of his own manga without showing up. His manga has been pretty disappointing. I love Accel, but all of the main railgun manga arcs are leagues above the first arc of his manga. They should have called it A Certain Magical Estelle.
Accel doesn't really get developed until much further in the novels so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people felt that way.

Hopefully this means a possible Season 3 of A Certain Scientific Railgun, or at least a film of it...

I'd be fine with a Liberal Arts City movie. I really want to see Mikoto's dogfight with the Aztec 'planes' animated. I think that is probably the coolest use of her power so far.

As someone who is reading the Accelerator manga, I would like to see that get an anime.
But, I also have a need to see more Kongou...so would gladly accept a Railgun 3 instead.

A more tangled cross-over project perhaps?
As far as I got it there were some more franchises and fractions wrapped around the whole Index universe.
