I just hope they give Ichigo more stuff to do. He was useless in the original manga especially in the final battle

Ugh. That was a great trailer, and it's been a long time since I've even thought about Bleach; just hard to decide if I should be excited because of it, given how badly the final manga arc seems to have been received. Damnit, Viz.

I am not a fan so I have no horse in the race but the remaining last 3rd wasn't liked on release in either Japan or abroad. Opinions didn´t become warmer as time went on either. So I wonder how people will feel when the bloom comes off the rose a month in.

I mean there wasn't much animation in the trailer though? The aesthetic looks nice though. Besides this is a pre animated trailer, meaning it's not footage taken from the anime. (which is still early in produciton) |

Man, it's pretty surreal seeing new Bleach animation and hearing Number One again.
The animation looks beautiful. Even if it's pre-animated and they showed some spoiler-y stuff from way ahead in still shots, I hope the final product looks just as good. |

This arc was a mess, but who cares? Bleach deserves to be fully adapted. Watching the story with the top-tier voices and Shiro Sagisu's awesome soundtrack will be epic, even if they stay faithful to the original material and don't try to fix some of the plot holes and the inconsistent stuff.

Hopefully with how involved Kubo has been on the anime this time (he's been talking about it a lot since last year down to designs and script) it means we'll be getting the fully realized version of this arc. |

Man, that hit me right in the feels! All dat nostalgia flooding back in!
Just the fact they used the #1 song makes me believe we're in good hands. If Kubo can tweak the story more then that'll be great! I'll always have a fondness for Bleach. Those were good times back in the day! |
