IIRC NISA didn’t do so well in the anime market, so they let their licenses expire over time. Most of them, like Anohana, were picked up by Aniplex. |

I honestly cannot imagine Natsume in English LoL. The Japanese cast is absolutely PERFECT, so I hope the English dub will be able to fill those shoes at least half way. Would be great if a Natsume revival comes out of this, but I hope anyone who gets into the series through the dub will also give the series a try in Japanese.
I still (half) jokingly bug the director Omori san once in a while for a 7th season haha. The series is still going strong merch-wise so I think it's more of an issue of when rather than if. |
