Very good news, indeed! Now I'm curious as to what form the releases will in...DVD...Blu-ray...combo pack? I have the Geneon Volumes 1-4, which of course, are in DVD format (and unopened...wanted to wait until I had the full set before I started into them). I'm wondering if I'll end up having to double-dip for volumes 1-4 again if they're released in BD next year. Also wondering what kind of goodies, if any, Funi will be including with the releases.

Production on the HELLSING ULTIMATE OVAs will begin immediately at the original studio, New Generation Pictures, and will include the original cast featuring Crispin Freeman in his return as Arucard.

And all is right with the world.

Oh, hell yeah! This is the news I've been waiting for Smile

This is awesome news, but I think I'll wait for all 10 OVAs to be licensed and dubbed first.

Great news in theory. I would like to see/buy the rest of the series. Until I see a release date, I am not excited anymore. Funi Vaporware Wink No matter who is "delaying" what.

Well this is good news, but it also brings up some questions.

Will they re-release the first 4 volumes as individual releases, as well as vol. 5 as a single release? Or will they combine them into one release?

Also like people said will it be a combo pack (hope not)?

Will there be stuff like steelbooks like the first releases?

Sweet I love this show. Hopefully we get 9 and 10 too whenever they're made.

I'll definitely be looking to buy a complete release. man it's been a long wait and wonder for this title. So long that I have to wonder if the same English cast will be there for the remainder?

Not only that, you'll probably also wait until the SAVE release is out, since you like everything to be at bargain-basement/clearance prices before you spend money on it...

Hellsing gets to keep its dub cast, Funi's putting out the rest of the OVA's next year, and all is right with the world. Hopefully this is a sign that some of the licenses held up by all that Geneon Universal business might start to flow soon.

It's good that they picked up number 8 but I'm way more excited by the news that we'll actually be seeing episodes 5-7 some time soon.

What a great day! OMG, such great news reading that press release!

The long wait for 5+ has now been worth it for getting confirmation that the cast will be back!

Great news and all, but I'll save my elation until I see the actual, physical product on my shelf.

Personally, I think NBC Universal has been ****-blocking everyone ever since they aquired Geneon. That would explain why FUNimation "never got the materials." Anyone remember Armitage III: Movie Collection? Yeah, I didn't think so.
