Yay, the three series I enjoyed the most (Hanayamata, Akame, and Survival Club) were in the top 10. Though some of these rankings are lower than I expected, like SAO2, Resonance, Black Butler and Free. The fact that most voters were male explains the last two, but the others? I thought people liked Watanabe, or is that only in the west? And i had no idea Locodol was that popular.

Glad to see Sabagebu! made it into the top 10. It was the funniest anime I've seen in ages so glad it found some success!

We~~~ 1,2 and 3 are my favorite animes for summer season.
i`m so pleased seein this.

Same here! Was pretty surprised by that. Although my 4th favorite was Blue Spring Ride at #23. Granted this is just based on the first 3 episodes of each show. Blue Spring Ride could have nosedived after that, but I'm a sucker for that style of shoujo series.

My wife and I were trying to watch almost every show of the season with a friend, but we got busy with school when the new semester started and weren't able to have our regular anime nights anymore. Sad.

It explains why some of those series sold so badly, but thats about it.

Hard to believe that Sengoku Basara seasons 1 and 2 sold rather well and then this SenBasa series comes in dead last, even behind the hated Glasslip.

Sheesh, those who were behind the planning of that series screwed up big time.

S3 is currently on its way for having the biggest sequel drop going by the disc sales we have data on.

Barakamon and Gekkan, two of my favorite shows this season, in the top 2, YATA!

So this was mostly guys in their 20s right? It's too bad, some of the lower ranked shows deserves to get more recognition than what it got.

I wonder how an all-female ranking would look like?

the ranking reflects the age of the audience I guess, slice of life anime at top 2, big budget action flicks like SAO 2 didn't do well.
