That one was interesting. If you watched the anime, it's guaranteed that you get it, the painting is important. But if you didn't see it, there's almost zero chance you'd get it, because the painting wasn't used much in promotion (It doesn't have a lot of marketing appeal). -t |

While OTOH, a woman painting was the only thing the marketing for The Wind Rises DID show us.

Missed 2 - the music video and Up on Poppy, and on Poppy I was about to guess that but the sea image just made me go with Ponyo.

I got them all right, and found that very easy (I'm a big Ghibli fan), but it was still fun. I'm glad that you are apparently planning to do more of these.
After you submit your answers, but before you click to see what other people voted, it tells you the right answer for each one. Just go to the quiz page again and click the submit button at the bottom again, and it should take you back to the page that shows the answers. |

You might think "On Your Mark" was slightly unfair- but if you remember, it was in the news last year. It got pulled from the (Japanese) Miyazaki box-set when the singer got arrested for drug possesion. ANN used images from the video in at least one of the news reports- that's why I guessed it.

How classic you mean? Record of the Lodoss War? That until today define how Dark Elfs and High Elfs looks alike? Dark Elfs = Oppai Sexy Queens or classic like Crest of the Stars? Bubbelgum Crisis? Appelseed? Fist of the "south" Star? Project A-Ko?

I got them all except for one. I got Marnie mixed up with Arrietty. There is only one. But there are two images for Marnie and they really will throw you off if you don't know where the scene comes from.
