I am overcome by sadness. 44 is too young, she was so beautiful and her voice opened the heavens.

It is difficult to isolate what a tragedy this is, without forgetting just how many lives cancer claims each and every day. It is a tragedy for every person who loses their life, through any force, at any point in their lives.
Her music is beautiful. And it still makes me feel something when I hear it. Her beauty and legacy live there, and will not be forgotten. |

It's a shame that Origa passed away from lung cancer. And at the age of 44? That's way too young to go. It's an awful shame. She never had a chance to do any American animation songs. She would have been great! Goodbye,Origa. Your time here was too brief. You deserved a longer life.

This just hit like a ton of bricks. Inner Universe is one of my all time favorite songs in all of anime.
I'm listening to it as i type this now in her memory. Condolences to the family and thank you Origa for unforgettable music and a beautiful voice we will all miss. |

Rest in peace, I enjoyed the openings/inserts she made for the GITS: SAC franchise quite a bit. This is pretty sad.
Well, I know what I'm listening to on the way to work now at least.

This is so incredibly sad and comes as quite a shock. Such a gifted artist, I've listened to her music countless times. From the moment I heard her voice, I was blown away by its beauty and ability to pull me in.
A talent that will be greatly missed, at least she's no longer in pain. May she rest in peace. ->
