No Maburaho, which predates all these (release in 2003)? If nothing else it should be acknowledged as a progenitor.

Also, Ichiban Ushiro No Daimo comes to mind. I think it was more entertaining than the meandering Index anyway.

Freezing is also terrible exploitative trash with the worst main character this side of Ichika, so...

Irrelevant, your honor.

I mean, the list is supposed to be Seven Magic High School shows that are good/worth your time, so I'd say it's pretty relevant.

Maburaho could certainly get a passing mention as the most inelegant way to give your main character a harem.

How many novels does the Daimaou anime adapt? It ended up becoming one of my favorite novels overall, but I don't remember the beginning being too special.

After reading that article,I'm glad I never enrolled in high schools like that. For one thing,I might get turned into a frog or something like that. I'm glad schools like that don't exist in the real world or there are a lot more problems that might develop from stuff like that.

I feel like the only person who was expecting to see Rosario+Vampire make an appearance, though I do like to inclusion of Soul Eater and Familiar of Zero.
