使徒、襲来 : shito, shuurai = "apostle, invasion"
鳴らない、電話 : narasunai, denwa = "not to ring, telephone"

I'm curious - what on Earth are these?

All right - here are the ones that have appeared so far:

使徒、襲来 : shito, shuurai = "apostle, invasion"
鳴らない、電話 : narasunai, denwa = "not to ring, telephone"
REI, kokoro no mukouni ="Rei, defiant heart"
決戦、第三新東京市 : kessen, daisan Shin Toukyou-shi ="decisive battle, the third New Tokyo city" (i.e. Tokyo-3)
人の造りしもの : hito no tsukurishimono ="that which makes a human being" (I guess "the making of a man" could translate it, as well)

I think you made a typo on this one.

No problem. To save you the time, I took the liberty of looking up the rest in the Encyclopedia. In the process, I found a couple of typos / errors in the listing there, which ought be worth correcting.

Anyway:

01. 使徒、襲来 : shito, shuurai = "apostle, invasion"
03. 鳴らない、電話 : naranai, denwa = "not to ring, telephone"
REI, kokoro no mukouni ="Rei, defiant heart"
06. 決戦、第三新東京市 : kessen, daisan Shin Toukyou-shi ="decisive battle, the third New Tokyo city" (i.e. Tokyo-3)
07. りしもの : hito no tsukurishimono ="that which makes a human being" (I guess "the making of a man" could translate it, as well)
ASUKA, rainichi = "Asuka, arrival in Japan"
09. 瞬間、心、重ねて : shunkan, = "an instant, heart, once more"
MAGUMADAIBAA = "magma diver"
11. 静止した闇の中で : seishishita yami no naka de = "in the still center of the darkness"
12. 奇跡の価値は : kiseki no kachi wa = "a miracle's value is..."
13. 使徒、侵入 : shito, shinnyuu = "apostle, invasion" (NOTE: different word than shuurai in #01 - shinnyuu implies a raid or sudden strike, rather than an assault in force)
ZEERE, kon no za = "SEELE, seat of the soul" (NOTE: I'm a bit unsure as to which reading to use on the second part)
15. 嘘と沈黙 : uso to chinmoku = "Lie and silence"
16. 死に至る病、そして : shi ni itaru yamai, soshite = "arriving at death from sickness, and then..."
17. 四人目の適格者 : yoninme no tekikakusha ="group of four eligible people"
18. 命の選択を : inochi no sentaku wo ="the choice of life"
(NOTE: this posed some problems - I think there's a typo in the Encyclopedia, so I've chosen to read it as 男の戦い, since that matches the translated title currently in the Encyclopedia) : otoko no tatakai ="a man's fight"
20. こころのかたち、人のかたち : kokoro no katachi, hito no katachi ="form of spirit, form of man"
NERUFU, tanjou ="NERV, birth"
23. 涙 : namida ="tear"
24. 最後のシ者 : saigo no shimono ="the final envoy" (NOTE: There's a really beautiful double entendre here, which is probably intentional, with the term shimonoku, "envoi", the end of a poem)
25. 終わる世界 : owaru sekai ="end of the world"
26. 世界の中心でアイを叫んだけもの : sekai no naka kokoro de AI wo sakebun kedamono (NOTE: another correction, since the Encyclopedia had dakemono, an obvious typo which I've read as kedamono) = "the beast that shouted 'I' at the heart of the world" (NOTE: There's another fine duality here between アイ and あい / 愛 - katakana is sometimes used for emphasis, replacing hiragana in the same way as italicised text does in our script, so this could also be read as an emphasized "... shouted LOVE at the heart..." - which makes a dandy reference to Harlan Ellison's classic 1969 science fiction story, The Beast That Shouted Love at the Heart of the World)

I hope you find all of this useful. I'd really love it if someone more knowledgeable than myself could clear up the difficulty I had with the reading in #14.

No, you're right. I seem to have forgotten that bit. That episode should be:

09. 瞬間、心、重ねて : shunkan, kokoro, kasanete = "an instant, heart, once more"

Sorry, it must have dropped out when I was copying it from my notepad.

I believe "Tamashii no za" is the correct reading. "Tamashii" is used more often when 魂 is used independently.
