Anime NYC Hosts Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- Film's Dub Premiere; Voice Actors Reiji Kawashima, Kenichirō Matsuda, 3 More

Kawashima is known for his roles as Fushi in To Your Eternity, Taiyo Asano in Mission: Yozakura Family, Finn Ames in Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Arata in Night of the Living Cat, Suo Yobitsugi in Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez among others.
He has also provided voices for characters in the games Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Tarot Danshi ~22-ri no Minarai Uranaishi~ and Dynasty Warriors: Origins.
Matsuda has voiced roles in Spy×Family as Bond, Black Clover as Gordon Agrippa, and Shaman King as Luchist Lasso. He is also known for his voicework in video games including Mukuta and others in Granblue Fantasy, Gulool Ja Ja in Final Fantasy XIV, Bryce in Unicorn Overlord.
Katō has a prolific portfolio of work including Becky in Spy×Family, Hitomi Takamine in Medalist, and Kyubey in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She also voiced roles in video games such as Granblue Fantasy, God Eater 2, and Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.
Naganawa is known for her roles as Kanna in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Platelet in Cells at Work!, and Cure Wonderful in Wonderful Precure!. She has provided voicework in video games as Ayana Amamoto in The Caligula Effect: Overdose, Lydie Malen in Atelier Lydie and Suelle: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting, and Koharu in Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation.
Kawahara has played Tohru in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Yue in Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest, and Hime Arikawa in Himegoto. Her work in video games includes Effie in Fire Emblem Heroes, Mel in Street Fighter 6, and Rem in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
The Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- anime film, a re-edited version of the television anime's first four episodes, opened in Japan on January 17, and debuted at #1 at the Japanese box office in its opening weekend. Amazon Prime Video began streaming the same-day English dub for the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (pronounced as “g-kwux”) television anime on April 8.
This year's Anime NYC has expanded to a four-day event (Thursday to Sunday) for the first time, on August 21-24 at the Javits Center.
Anime NYC launched in November 2017, and has taken place in November each year until in 2024, when it moved to August, and used the full main building of the Javits Center for the first time. (The event was online only in 2020.)
