This is a pleasant surprise. This is a little over the top - somebody’s going to have a field day animating Uzaki’s boob physics - but it’s got a good heart underneath all the ecchi. Looking forward to it.

Shocked This is some sugoi dekai news! Wow, it's finally happening... And this news came out on a Monday, what a way to start the week! Best part is is that they gave us a date. Wonder if that means this will be a shorts series? Not 2-to-5 minute shorts, more the 10-to-15 shorts. Well, if it goes that route it wouldn't be that bad, I can totally see this show working in that format. Now I await for confirmation on Nagatoro.

I’m trying to figure out who was hungry for revenge.

The "moral guardians" got angry over this? Seriously...? They all need to see a therapist, they're seeing harm where it doesn't even exist. This seems to be quite harmless.

I wouldn't call it revenge but it is good to see a manga series get an anime adaptation that was attacked for zero reason. There is still some justice in a world where a far left lawyer tries to ruin a blood drive because she sees a poster of Uzaki and claims that it is background sexual harassment because she is a busty anime character. The poster was completely tame but that person was so egotistical that they would prefer to see people die than to see that poster at blood drives.

Sounds like something I’d take a look at. The staff and studio don’t exactly inspire confidence for me personally, but hopefully those fears end up being all for naught.

Haven't read the manga, but I'm glad to hear this because of the fan art I've seen of the main girl's mom (Uzaki Tsuki). Hope to see her in the show.

Same deal with the mom in Komi Can't Communicate, hope to see her animated eventually. (That one I plan to read)

Not quite, but there is enough similarities with Takagi-san and Nagatoro, yeah.

I'd actually like to see it similar to Tejina Sempai (Magical Sempai) where they adapted four shorts per roughly 20 minute episode. It kept the humor continuous while moving quickly through the source material. Uzaki-chan is similar in format and has enough source material it could work in that manner.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nagatoro animated but I'm holding out for one of the other gyaru series to come along, something like Anjou-san or Gal Gohan.

Obviously eventhough this would've been made even without the idiocy over them using Uzaki to promote a blood drive.

I wouldn't call using an image of Uzaki whose a busty high schooler to encourage people (most likely men) to donate blood "attacked for no reason".

Yeah I think you need to step back and rethink this unless she actually said this I guarantee you that wasn't the intent behind her outrage.

And though it shouldn't need to be said if you need to use sexualized imagery to encourage people to donate blood (not sperm) either your priorities or your culture has a problem with plain common sense.
