This looks like anime Shadow Complex yet somehow not anywhere near as awesome as that sounds on paper.

Looks good but a few bits of criticism:
-Love the fact that the levels are MUCH longer than they were in the arcade version. My biggest beef with the arcade version of the game is that it was just too short. -It looks like this game will be a re-imagining of the first Strider game for the arcade. I would like to have both if possible. -No Ivan the Terrible as a mid-boss?  I would've loved to have seen him do his crazy roars while he somersaults towards Hiryuu only to have him be slashed up by the cipher. 
-Okay, WHY did they change up the appearance of the mecha centipede? It was composed of members of the Kremlin and it wielded a hammer and a sickle! That was one of the things that made that boss so memorable! Now it's just a generic boss. 
-I sure hope the cut scene has Meio's classic line: "Hmmmmm!!! Strider Hiryu! He will never leave Eurasia alive!" |
