The official Twitter account for the television anime of Yoshimi Sato's Fumikiri Jikan (Railroad Crossing Time) manga revealed two character visuals for the anime on Monday. The characters, along with their previously announced cast members, are as follows:
Yui Ogura as Tomo
Both characters are from "Futari no Seishun" (Their Youth), the first story from the manga's first compiled book volume.
The anime will premiere in April.
The omnibus manga tells a series of short stories about conversations young women have while waiting at railroad crossings.
Yoshio Suzuki (Fighting Beauty Wulong) is directing the anime at EKACHI EPILKA. Misuzu Chiba (Doraemon, Chi's Sweet Adventure) is supervising and writing the series scripts. Kaori Takamura (Dragon Ball Super, Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! episode animation director) is designing the characters. Miyuki Kawashima (Ojisan to Marshmallow, Hinako Note, Love is Like a Cocktail) is the art director. Ayaka Nagano (Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul) is the color key artist. Keiji Ōshima (Attack on Titan, Love Live!) is the director of photography.
Sato launched the manga in Monthly Action in 2016. Futabasha published the manga's second compiled volume last May.
