Fans Pick Which Anime Character They Want for a Boss

A new poll on Anime! Anime! asked its readers to choose which anime character they would most like to have as a boss. The site put the poll up in honor of "Boss Day" on October 16. The participants were predominately women (75%) and mostly teens and young adults. The top choice is a pick I think most of us can agree with, the determined and capable Akane Tsunemori.
Akane is an inspector in the dystopian series and charged with hunting down individuals whose crime coefficients fall into dangerous areas. She's partnered with Shinya Kogami, a former detective and now Enforcer for the Public Safety Bureau. However it's fellow Enforcer Nobuchika Ginoza that took the second place spot in the poll. Ginoza seems cool and collected but he's a man that feels strongly for those he cares about, even when it cost him his spot as an Inspector.

A poll on this topic in 2015 found that plenty of people like the idea of a domineering presence with the likes of Attack on Titan's Levi and and Dragon Ball Z's Frieza in the top five.
