Series adapting Frontwing's visual novel began in 2013

Online retailer Amazon.com is listing that Shū Hirose's Grisaia no Kajitsu ~Sanctuary Fellows~ manga adapting Frontwing's The Fruit of Grisaia visual novel will end in its 4th compiled volume. The volume is scheduled to ship in Japan on December 19.

The story takes place at the private Mihama Academy, where five girls who seem normal attend the school due to "certain reasons." A sixth student "with reasons" named Yūji Kazami transfers in. Yūji has an ego with such darkness that he does not fade in comparison to the five girls, who are so different from the norm. As they each meet each other, they deepen their understanding of one another. Through the small bits of progress they make, each of their hearts will be affected. When Yūji arrives, a story of girls who are trapped by their pasts begins.

The manga adapting the original visual novel with art by Shū Hirose and scripts by Frontwing's Eiji Narumi began in Akita Shoten's Champion Red Ichigo magazine in its 37th issue on April 5, 2013. An anime adaptation of the original novel also began last month. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for North American release.
