A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV Side-Scrolling Prequel Game's Trailer Streamed

Square Enix began streaming a trailer on Thursday for A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV, its side-scrolling prequel game to the main Final Fantasy XV game. The video reveals the game's characters and combat features.
The company will offer the prequel game as a bonus with the main game's September 30 release. The game will only be available as a pre-order bonus for select retailers, including GameStop and EB Games in North America.
The bonus game will center on a young King Regis, the father of Final Fantasy XV's main character Noctis, and will be a story told by Regis to Noctis about what happened 30 years before the game. The game will feature characters from the main game, as well as new characters, and players will be able to use a variety of magic, including Warp Strike, which also features in Final Fantasy XV.
